It’s finally fall here in Wisconsin, which we all know means the colors are simply extraordinary. One of the best things to do during this time is to get out and enjoy all that Pewaukee has to offer, especially considering there are no lack of fun activities for you to partake in. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, you’ll want to explore and take in the season while you can, and well before winter is on its way.
Prairie Grass Living is a premier apartment complex in Pewaukee, offering one and two-bedroom apartments for you to rent. Newly constructed and furnished, these luxury apartments are the perfect place for you to call home. Take a look at some fun fall activities in the Pewaukee area, and contact Prairie Grass Living today!
The Kettle Moraine State Forest is just under 15 minutes outside of Pewaukee, and is the perfect place for you to take in the gorgeous fall colors. Lapham Peak specifically is a great hiking spot, where you will be able to witness firsthand the effects that glaciers had on the region over 10,000 years ago. There’s also an observation point and tower you can check out that reaches 1,233 feet above sea level, promising an excellent overlook of the region. In autumn, hiking the trails that Wisconsin has to offer is a must, and the Kettle Moraine State Forest is a great place to start.
No, we don’t mean in a bad way, but rather you should check out a corn maze this fall! Shady Maple Farm has pumpkins, hay rides, and even a petting zoo that anyone, at any age can enjoy. And of course, the corn maze is a great way to spend a fall afternoon with friends and family. For a slightly longer drive (but an even more elaborate corn maze), check out Treinen Farm in Lodi, where this year an incredible trilobite design has been constructed. Treinen Farm offers the largest corn maze in the state of Wisconsin, and also includes horse drawn hay rides and even a pumpkin slingshot!
Another great fall activity involves celebrating Halloween, and Pewaukee is the perfect place to do it. Our city’s Halloween Fun Fest takes place on October 21st this year in the downtown area, and features treats and crafts on the sidewalk.
And of course, no Halloween celebration would be complete without carving pumpkins! Whether you get your pumpkins at Shady Maple Farm or elsewhere, it’s practically a fall necessity to carve some pumpkins for decoration.
These decorations will not only look great in themselves, but would be the perfect way to add some fall festivities to your apartment! At Prairie Grass Living, we are the luxury apartments in Pewaukee that you deserve. Our apartment rentals are available in a brand new complex, and are exactly the type of residence you’re looking for, at a price you can afford.
